Your Dedicated Tax Team

Every Rockwater client is supported by a dedicated tax team working together to guide your case from consultation through resolution.

A Refreshed Approach to Tax Relief

Many tax resolution companies operate like call centers. Clients are transferred between representatives who may have little familiarity with their case.

At Rockwater Tax, we take a different approach. Every client is supported by a dedicated tax team that understands the full picture of their situation and remains involved throughout the entire process.

This structure ensures continuity, faster decision-making, and a clear strategy from start to finish.

Three Levels of Direct Support

Your Account Executive helps set the foundation for your case. They guide your initial consultation, explain your options, and help design a strategy that fits your financial situation and goals.
Your Associate is an Enrolled Agent who is Licensed to represent you in front of the IRS. Your associate leads the technical side of your case — working directly with the IRS, preparing filings, negotiating solutions, and executing the strategy developed for your situation. You can reach out to them directly anytime as you work through your case.
Your Tax Assistant supports your Enrolled Agent by coordinating documentation, organizing case materials, and helping keep your case moving forward smoothly and efficiently. They also serve as an alternative point of contact as we work through your case.

Why This Structure Matters

Consistent Communication

Build on a Solid Foundation

Many tax resolution firms operate like call centers where clients are transferred between representatives who may not be familiar with the full details of their case.At Rockwater Tax, you work with the same team throughout the entire process. Your dedicated professionals understand your financial situation, your strategy, and the progress of your case. This continuity allows for clearer communication, fewer delays, and a more organized path toward resolution.

Faster Case Progress

Protect Your Innovations

Resolving IRS issues often requires multiple steps — gathering documents, preparing filings, communicating with the IRS, and negotiating solutions.

With a dedicated team supporting your case, work does not stall when one person is unavailable. Tasks are coordinated between team members so progress can continue efficiently.

This collaborative approach helps move your case forward while ensuring that every detail is properly handled.

Greater Accountability

Stay Ahead with Data Security

When a case moves between multiple representatives, responsibility can become unclear. This often leads to confusion, repeated explanations, and slower progress.

Our team structure ensures clear accountability. Your team understands your objectives and is responsible for guiding your case from the initial consultation through the final resolution. This focused oversight allows us to maintain consistency in strategy and execution.
"Trustworthy. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend. James and his team are great to work with and have helped me with my tax case. Trustworthy is how I would describe Rockwater in one word.
Working with Nick and Weston from the Rockwater team... they were able to solve a few tax issues I had across state lines for a very reasonable price. I look forward to utilizing their services again next year!
Molly Young is a standout. She is an unbelievable resource, and there were many mistakes and problems that she patiently and immediately resolved. Molly is someone to trust with any business problem, especially IRS issues.

Have questions?

How do I know if I qualify for tax relief?

Most taxpayers with IRS or state tax debt qualify for at least one form of relief. During your consultation, our team reviews your financial situation, income, and tax history to determine the best options available — such as payment plans, settlements, or penalty relief.

Can Rockwater's Enrolled Agents stop IRS collections or wage garnishments?

In many cases, yes. Once we begin representing you, we can often request collection holds, stop certain enforcement actions, and work with the IRS to put a resolution plan in place.

Can you help if I haven’t filed my tax returns yet?

Many people with tax debt are also behind on filings. We help clients get their returns filed properly and determine the best path forward with the IRS or state.

Do I still have to deal with the IRS if I hire a tax firm?

Once we’re authorized to represent you, we communicate with the IRS on your behalf and guide you through the process so you’re not handling it alone.

Can you help if I already have a payment plan with the IRS?

Yes. In many cases, existing payment plans can be reviewed and sometimes adjusted depending on your financial situation.
